Global Extreme Flooding Events In September 2023 – A Probably Incomplete List

A quickly gathered list mostly to satisfy my own curiosity. To gather the articles, I used a headless Google Chrome, a list of the world's countries, regular expressions, and Google News. AFAIK this list is rather alarmingly long; similar searching (rudimentary, not comprehensive) for other years yields nowhere near this number of extreme flooding events. Being lazy, and of the mind to think that this work has already been done, I am on the lookout for a more comprehensive study: i you have a suggestion please advise. (The Global Flood Database would have been just the thing, had it only been searchable by month and year. Sigh.)
