Johanna Faust, a mixed race Jew, prefers to publish pseudonymously. She is committed: first, to preventing war, ecological disaster, and nuclear apocalypse; last to not only fighting for personal privacy & the freedom of information, but, by representing herself as a soldier in that fight, to exhorting others to do the same. She is a poet, always. I remember the teaching circles during Occupy Oakland, where Panther-era seniors and seasoned anarchists had to take turns patiently explaining the same old concepts to faces fresh to activism.  Concepts like the ones below.



This title was originally "Out of the ashes, a Pheonix."  



It only took us nine days of protesting, eventually involving all 5o states and several other countries, but all four officers involved in the death of George Floyd have finally been charged.



There seems to be reason for hope, despite the added pain and in some cases loss of life that that caused. 



Because maybe we are getting somewhere after all.
